Lybster

Lybster is a village on the Caithness coast south of Wick. The village used to be at the southern end of the Wick & Lybster Light Railway, the most northerly branch line in the UK and the shortest lived, lasting from 1903 until 1944. The village was once amajor herring port, although the fishing industry has declined in recent years.
