We're now in mid October
So that's way away from June
We could stroll the length of Boroughgate
Down to the old Moot Hall
Or walk along the riverside
I don't mind at all
Or do you want a longer walk
In the countryside surrounding?
It's location on the Eden
Makes it quite astounding
Or if the weather's lousy
We could get the Settle train
And potter up to old Carlisle
And then chug back again
Come on, let's go and do it
We can go without a care
Best not to leave it later
When the dreaded fair is there
