Mosedale is located on the eastern edge of the Skiddaw Fells, at the point where the River Caldew emerges from the fells before turning north.
Directions: Mosedale is on the minor road that runs alongside the eastern edge of the northern fells, heading towards Hesket Newmarket from the A66.
