Northton is a scenic village at the western tip of South Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The village sits to the west of the main road that runs around the island.
The village contains the MacGillivray Centre, which celebrates the naturalist William MacGillivray, and to the Seallam geneaology visitor centre.
Between the village and the sea are the remains of a medieval chapel.
