This picture shows the western slopes of Yewbarrow. An alternative path to the top runs across this picture. It starts at the far left, and follows the green gap in the scree to reach the dark crag. It then runs belwo the crags to the centre of the picture. On the right the path runs below the crags on the skyline and the crags above the scree, running along a gap in the crags to reach the summit ridge at about the far right of the picture.
