Llanbedrog is quite a sizable village built above a long crescent beach, about half way between Abersoch and Pwllheli. The beach is served by a large NT car park with steps down, and has a handy beach cafe. The beach is lined with 40 old fashioned beach huts and overlooked by the headland of Trwyn Llanbedrog. On a clear day the view east towards Snowdonia is very impressive. The village also contains an interesting art gallery, found opposite the entrance to the NT car park.
