Index to Ullswater Fells Gowbarrow Fell

To the south of Ullswater is an area of deep valleys and remote fells, with a fringe of activity along the lake shore. This area includes one of the best low-level walks in the district, the path along the lake side of Place Fell.

This page covers the fells north and south of the main length of the fell, with the fells to the west dealt with on the Helvellyn page.
